If it’s time to upgrade from dialup or switch to a faster connection, finding out the latest news from internet service providers in my area is a great place to begin.  Start by checking out some of the top providers in the industry — names like AT&T, Verizon and Qwest.  If they have networks in your state, your next step is to check availability for your particular location to see if their infrastructure will allow a connection.  AT&T has extensive coverage over 22 states nationwide; Verizon network extends over 25 states.  Qwest dominates much of the west in 14 states.  All three offer several speed plans, including fiber optics for lightning fast, distortion free connections.  It’s a great time to switch to high speed internet.
